      ... with the weather conditions. Time to leave the schnitzel and streudel behind and head for the pizza and gelato. Saturday18th October An early start this morning to get to the station to catch the 7.45am bus to Salzburg. Mornings certainly are cooling off and it was good to get on the bus.       ... the next bus arrives. Nevertheless, as things quieted down it was the perfect time and place for us to grab lunch and rest up a bit.

      ... an old forestry road and unfortunately they were working on it and it was mud to our ankles, boots totally covered! That only lasted a few hundred metres, but track was very wet in any low lying areas. Managed to clean the worst of the mud off when we came to a spot where water was gushing out from a pipe under the track.       ... lake and only a small part of it freezes as it is deep. We walked around one end of it to Unterach where we were staying. Although it was the most perfect day there was not a lot happening there as most businesses and hotels have closed for the season.
