... we have while we are here! I must say my buddy has gone up and above the call of duty! Yesterday she walked up to the mall, and today she showed us the train station (translated so I could get my train pass), both of IMC's campuses, and the river! She is from Germany, and was previously on exchange in Edmonton for a whole year! Her English is amazing and she has been a huge blessing answering a million and one questions about anything and everything!

... running over the last 30 years that has really saved the place.

As we continue our ride East, now in a nice warm sun we pass through many villages, each one unique in its own way but all of them are immaculate and well presented, usually with cobbled streets, front doors often opening directly onto the street, always a lot of colourful flowers adorning the gardens and window boxes.
We are now entering into the wine growing region as the river alters ...

So the day starts. We arrive at a cute little village called Durnstien. Made it to the top of the hill to the castle...had to show off our physical prowess. Oh my goodness Liz didn't manage to buy a Santa but we did make up for it by buying some jam doughnuts. Rest of the morning was spent on board just cruising along the valley snapping thousands of pictures of the cute ...
