Our next stop was the Cologne Christmas Markets where Kate and Roy took to the ice for a couple of hours ice skating while Nathan and Traci headed to the bar for a kinder punch (Traci) and a gluhwein (Nathan) to warm up. Kate and Roy had a fun time skating even if there were a couple of falls!
Our day in Cologne was great and we are sure the memories of this day will stay with us for a long time to come.
Today we got up and went to the bakery where we got some
baked goods with hot chocolates. Maggie has an Apricot Danish and I had an
apple pastry covered in cinnamon and sugar.
Once we had our breakfast we walked around town. We ended up
checking out the cathedral and then walking to the Rhine River which was about
a 5/10minute walk. Next we went to the chocolate museum.
