    ... there is a USB outlet in the seat entertainment system which is very handy. None of these modcons in my day! Pretty good flight all in all. A few hiccups upon arrival however. Brand new terminal and stairs took ages to come also bags took forever. We stood at the Taxi rank for 10 min or so only to find out Taxis aren't stopping there yet. Super brisk walk to terminal 2 to try and catch last hotel shuttle bus. Made it by 20 secs! Cold and ...

    ... a bar and had a beer or two then off to immigration again to leave China. A bit strange but it is their country. Flight left at 2am, two hours late as we had to wait for another plane which was late. This aircraft was an older version and the legroom was shorter so it was not as comfortable. Slept on and off and arrived in Paris at about 8.30 am.
