After a hearty breakfast at the hotel we headed off to Luxembourg City and into Vaals(It borders on both Belgium and Germany. The three borders meet on the Drielandenpunt, a few meters from the highest point in the European part of the Netherlands, the Vaalserberg. The Vaalserberg used to be called "Hubertusberg".). And then onto Duerne. It was an entertaining drive to Luxembourg City especially trying to find first the city centre and then trying to find a park. The ...

So let's talk about the driving here in Europe. I now understand why Formula One Racing is so big over here. Basically everyone here is a Formula One driver and the towns and roadways are set up like a track. You seriously just weave your way through towns doing top speed. And guess who started to get into it a bit towards the end of the day? That's right, I'm going native and driving like a bat out of hell just to keep up! Crosswalks be damned! I'm hitting ...

We had breakfast on the beach today! We drove about 25 minutes from Bruges through the fog to the coast, and ate some waffles and bananas in the freezing freezing cold air of the Atlantic Ocean. It was cold and awesome. We said a tearful goodbye to Belgium and continued our road trip down to Luxembourg. I really wanted to go, because on maps, it looks like the tiniest, most adorable little country ever. It's totally true. If you go though, I ...

... to an elevator that would take us to the ground floor. When we got to the ground floor nobody wanted to explore because Sophie said there wasn’t much, just the river. So we went back up the elevator and eventually walked to a park near the parking lot to relax.

We got back to her house and relaxed while her mom made dinner, tonight we had a typical Dutch meal. Her mom made soup and it was really good! When we finished dinner ...

Woke up early and got our stuff ready for the day away at the Rally. We had an amazing breakfast at the hotel... The best buffet we've had so far on our trip!! It was good, it set us up for the long day ahead :-).
We arrived at the stage at about 8.45am, found a park, bought our stage ticket (€20 each) and then caught the shuttle bus to the area close to the stage we were going to. When we arrived we found some awesome classic cars ...
