    ... was greener in Hungary. Our hostess chatted a bit about times in Osijek before the war and the state of things now, saying 'the world didn't wait for us' ie it moved on with Osijek [and the Balkans generally I suspect] falling behind, left to try to pick up the pieces.

    Off after 1540 in the old town to the only ATM machine there. As there was no foreign exchange, Arjan can be my banker for a bit.
