... mainly due to the A/C but the woman who runs it was very friendly. The first night I did not see her much but we had a great conversation in morning in very broken English. She said she does see a lot of bike tour people but they are always old. She thought I was crazy when I told her I was going to Belgrade that day. Read in the next entry that I may just be crazy because of that reason.

Mate and the tennis disaster

Before we left for Rijeka, we went to the cemetery to say one last goodbye to my grandfather. We stopped in Zagreb to say bye to Marica, Alica and Fran. Marica gave me Croatia's Football Representation ball. Fran was cuter than ever so it was sad to leave him.
My dad, my grandmother and I continued our road trip back to the coast where my mum was waiting for us.
