... a diverse and friendly bunch of people who I know I'll be keeping in contact with in the future. ... to a spectacular day of fine weather and views. Phil wandered a little further to the top to views over the other ranges. ... Our first stop for coffee and cake was at a little town called Lofer. As we were having our drinks we looked out the window and noticed a small chair lift in operation and some skiers nearby. We decided that as it was just there we should see whether it would be possible to take the chairlift up the mountain and enjoy the snow- even if it was for Sophie to throw a few snowballs and be a snow fairy.
