    ... and I did the sauna and got a Turkish massage.

    It was ladies day so I didn't have to work my way around the co ed nude rule. The massage took place on a warmed slab of granite where warm water was continuously poured over me during the massage. After all my activity I was led to a quiet room where there was complete since and lovely lounges and a cup of herbal tea.

    Meersburg has made it to the list of my all time favorite towns. It is on the north side of Lake Konstanze and was another German city spared bombing. Consequently it's medieval architecture is evident in just about everything. So many people out today. It boasts the largest castle in Germany and has the most incredible lakeside promenade.     family and life in general before setting off back to our camp.

    When we got back to camp we had a look at some of the
    permanent “cabins” that were on sale at the camp with a view to possible buying
    one as a temporary measure whilst still looking for a house. The unit we looked
    at was very neat and is certainly an option, but after much deliberation we
    have decided to abandon this idea for the time being.

    The city has one large island that is a hiker and bikers dream. It is also the home of a huge island wise market garden industry. Greenhouses and fields supply vegetables and greens throughout southern Germany. We spent the day biking around the island giving us a chance to get close tothe farming done here.     ... when the water level went over the walkways and the current level was 10 metres below us!

    The sights here are amazing and we made out way out through the top which was a testing climb.
