      ... but not all so we are slowly learning German - errr or at least the important words like Bier and Rot Weine (Beer and Red Wine).

      We took a tour of the city and learned that the city was built upon embroidery back in 612 AD by an Irish monk, Gallus (I know I'm getting into history mom - can you believe it) and the town was known to be an epicenter for knowledge, so we toured a very old Monk library with all of the original manuscripts ...

      ... history person but it was still interesting and there were some cool exhibits where you could do hands on stuff, like make a mini hot air balloon out of a plastic bag.

      Today it was still snowing and its Sunday, so nothing is open, so we decided to go for a drive south a little to Lindau. The GPS got us lost as usual and we took a detour through some tiny towns which is always fun, we got to see lots of snowy fields and grape vines. Everyone here seems ...

      ... sky were the same colour and pretty much blended together it looked cool.

      After we had checked in we went for a walk and managed to find a café which was open for dinner. I got a sandwich and one of the best hot chocolates I've had in a long time. It was really nice and we will probably go back there. Once we walked back it was already dark and the snow is settling still, I think it could get pretty deep!

      ... along often in life. I have found that my daily brain clarifying run in the snow and ice (which is strictly in a straight line to avoid exploding knee), along with the Duolingo app teaching me German is a good start to keeping myself sane. I also have the awesome prospect of working at the local school, which I will find out more about in the next couple of days. I will have to get back to you on the other strategies I will have to implement in the coming future..... That's all for now! ...

      ... but managed to spend some money none the less. We returned that evening to see the fountain and light show before heading out for dinner.
