Today is our last day in Austria. We have had a quiet day in Innsbruck with a tour this morning of the old city, followed by a trip up the cable car to the top of the mountains from the middle of the city. Unfortunately there was lots of cloud so our view was limited. ... for the upcoming climb into the mountains. Initially, as we climbed we got a bit of rain, but it cleared just as we were approaching the Austrian border, and it was absolutely beautiful. The roads wound up through the hills, periodically ducking into a tunnel and back out again, and all the while with glaciers on the mountaintops in the background.
