... curb. He landed so heavily I though he would be knocked out for sure. It was pretty scary but luckily he was ok and there wasn't any blood. He did end up breaking his wrist though and the ambulance came to take him to the hospital. It could've been much worse! The parade wasn't as impressive as Eindhoven but the city was beautiful! Today the garbage truck came to pick up plastic only! My oma's town hands out special bags in which you can put ALL your plastic waste. So used sandwich bags, empty bottles, packaging etc. This big plastic bag gets picked up every week. You have to hang it off the lamp post, on one of the hooks. This way the garbage/plastic stays off the ground and mice and other rodents can't get in ...

... and combines. I thought that was really cool, since I only learned how to drive a tractor from the farm I used to work on. We saw a payloader putting grass in a bunker silo. It was odd to us, since we grow hay, but it is too wet in the Netherlands to grow hay, so they feed grass. It was a much brighter green and smelled like a mowed lawn, which was a different experience for us.
