We walked the Mid-evil streets of Elburg and saw the beautiful village houses, courtyards full of flowers and cobblestone streets too narrow for cars to pass through. We started out touring Amsterdam. Amsterdam has biking highways. One can travel from city to city on the biking highways. There are parking garages for bicycles. There is one across from where we are staying that holds 2,000 bicycles; they are building one right now for 10,000 bicycles. Even the elderly ride bicycles around town.

We had tea at a lovely little cafe in downtown Vierhouten. Vierhouten is a little Dutch village.

On Sunday, July 21st, we rented a Fiat Panda from Hertz. I of course did my usual Bond routine which the attendant seemed to enjoy.
