This area is lovely and well worth a visit. The camp site has exceptional facilities; lovely and quiet and the family team that run it can't be more helpful.

One word of caution though; if you plan coming here for any future King's Day Celebration weekend, just be aware a few of the local moronic youth make it an annual event to race around the ...

... everyone was in bed and I was very ready for bed! The next day we went altogether to Hoorn to visit grandads sister, Sieny. I haven't seen Sieny in years so I was really looking forward to it. Sieny doesn't speak any English so everyone else had to help with translation. Remko's mum Aly, who has also been to NZ before, was also there so it was also nice to see her.
