... was getting a bit tired of the constant stopping. So on we went but we only got as far as Pavia which turned out to be a very big old town with a lot of history but rather ugly in our opinion. We had a half hearted attempt at exploring but gave up on our bikes after an hour and a half as it was just too hot. ... me some pasta with pesto which was wonderful. When we had had dessert, he came and asked if I would like some gelato - maybe some uncooked shrimp gelato! So he enjoyed taking the mickey out of me as well! It really was a lovely dinner, and was nice to talk more to Adam.
