Marianne and Natalie traversed all the way from one end to the other ( 5 hours) and took the train back to the starting point. Lake. Como is large (actually two lakes converge ) deep blue , surrounded by mountains that climb directly from the lake. The homes that are built here all sit on uneven terrain, so lots of retaining walls, steps and more steps . We're staying at the Hotel Victoria, on the water and just spectacular.
