Lovely view, comfortable beds. The staff is very nice but have limited English. They are very good at using their translator apps though. Book a lake view room. It is worth the upgrade

Lake Como and Brunate are only about 50km from Milan but they are entirely different. Leaving Milan, I couldn't help but notice the great shoes that everyone wore. There I was in my Keen Hiking boots and there they were, averting their eyes as though I had some terrible deformity. When I arrived in Lake Como, I took a quick look around at the Duomo …

The park was awesome and I was the champion of volleyball. I went to sleep and wednesday was over..... ...

... Tim loved the diving boards. We've had many delicious meals thanks to Holly. The other night we went for pizza and Tim ordered what he thought was salami, but turned out to be a salmon pizza ;0) A few more things are the caves that we toured around Porlezza, and then zip line experience yesterday! Quite a rush! Today we are off to a mini vacation to Cinque Terre, Lucca, and Florence. Oh yes- we also took a ferry from Mennagio to Bellagio! ...

... pajamas - NOT - our laundry still wasn't dry. Go figure. And we had to leave in the morning for our flight to Vienna! We both had to hair dry our pajamas. This is the point of the trip where you are starting to get a little tired of the packing and unpacking. Even though we didn't pack too much, it always seems like 1,000 marbles spill out of your bag in each location and it's a process to get them all rounded up again. Now we had some wet marbles to round up too. Tomorrow ...

... amazing stretching out over the lake. We paid 2eur to go up the lighthouse and get an even better view. We took some photos from up here, then found the geocache and logged our names and put it back where we found it.

On the way down the shade wasn't there anymore so i was glad we headed up when we did. We then took another path which showed a waterfall on the picture, but once there we didn't see any water and there was no other paths for us to turn down. So don't know ...
