Our first day in Italy!! Mom woke everyone up this morning in order to get adjusted to the time zone and get the day started. We ate breakfast at the hotel, which was filled with pastries, cheeses and fresh fruit. They also had an assortment of different granola a and dried fruit which I fell in love with. It's truly a must-visit city and I'd love to go back and see it in broad daylight. ...

... We were in awe (see all the pictures I took which does not do the view justice). After this, we walked around the city until we found the botanical gardens. Sadly, some of it was closed due to the cold (it had snowed a couple days before). So we decided to walk to the Castello di San Vigilio on the top of the mountain. We saw that this road would take us there and it looked short and straight. However, the ...

THE WEEKEND WITH MY SISTER - inc. other fun faces

... Milan to meet the guys at the Duomo ready for hugs and smiles. We arrived at the duomo and saw the guys taking a selfie on the steps of the duomo. Just when they finished, they caught us trying to sneak round to surprise them. With a bag of confetti in hand, the first thing I was going to do is throw it all over Lucy as a kind gesture. IT WAS PERFECT. From that moment we just laughed. We took the time ...
