... and despite being 10:30pm we were starving after being stuck on the bus for the day, so we went exploring!! A gorgeous little candle lit street of bohemian cafés and bars appeared, set amongst sandy streets & palm trees, all on the shore of the main beach. ... became annoying after a while. Either way after a while we ended up going to one of the spots with the sun beds and ordering beers and just being beach bums all afternoon. It was awesome. Later on we had an alright meal at one of the restaurants along the strip and got an early night so we could be up early. I did have another dip in the pool before bed to cool me off. Ok so on the 24th we hired a surf board and went surfing, that was fun. Then on the 25th we moved accommodation to Aqua Luna, even though the other place was amazing, this one has a bigger pool and lots more younger people which is fun. That day we did nothing, and went out to dinner. 26th we walked to the far beach called La Punta which was nice, there is more people surfing there, and walked back. ...

... place one of them came in to make sure we were looked after properly. At this point I also had a translator appointed…not that it moved things along any quicker! However, eventually it was all done and I left with my official police report so that at least I would be able to start making an insurance claim.

The owners of the digs were lovely people who were happy to arrange anything for us. As it turned out very little was necessary as we were out for the most of the day.
