A travel blog entry by steve88 on Sep 20, 2014

Hola. So meg came up with a good idea, for each city we visit or place you write down 6 words that describe that city or your take on it. So for Oaxaca I have: beautiful, markets, elderly, accessible, touristy, food. We spent 2 nights and 3 days. The hostel we stayed at is called hostel pochon and it was a nice little place close enough to the city centre to walk but also far enough to be quiet and relaxing. They stole every joint that came their way then claimed it was tobacco. I was getting upset at the rudeness of the whole deal when we decided to find another group to hang out with, there were at least 5. The group we ended up with was the other party crashers. This time they ...

... was near a bar that had VERY LOUD late night live music, the same repertoire almost every night with much Bob Marley music. Being a fan of the music, having an excellent kitchen in the hostel, and being a short walk to the beach meant we stayed put for a week :-) We also had the most fabulous supermarket, called “Super Che” nearby which we went to every day for dinner decisions. We have learnt not to buy in advance as plans change so often that it’s just ...
