... up and get it all done. The best time to do it is in the car, on a bus or during a flight, but we haven't had much of them now that were in Puerto. The last couple of days we have been going for a surf, we can stand up a bit now and not just fall straight off. We love it, my two favourite things, the beach and sport combined. ... come into the same station as the bus to Puerto. Five minutes later we were rolling down the road knowing we'd wake up on the Coast. Delicious. In Puerto Escondido we grabbed the first cab and simply told him, "We need to go to the beach!"

The waves were pumping at Puerto Escondido. Really pumping. Huge. Smashing. Scary. We got to watch the first dozen heats of the Puerto Escondido Open, which just happened to be on while we were there. ...

... night the party was crashed my two different groups of thugs. The first group was and old dude slinging sacks of dirt weed, backed up by a bunch of teenagers. They stole every joint that came their way then claimed it was tobacco. ... respect for our brilliant driver, after the stress of the blockade, negotiating the roads really was quite a feat and he did it with ease and speed.

We had a rare daytime arrival and there we were – at the beach again, how very exciting :-)

We found our way to the Mayflower Hostel that Annie had read about and, after one night in the only available room, moved to a front room with a balcony, private bathroom, fancy TV and heaps of space - LUXURY!!! :-) ...
