We quickly settled into a very comfortable daily routine;

- waking up neither too early nor too late and enjoying our breakfast of cereal, tropical fruits, excellent yoghurt and local coffee brewed just right, an excellent way to start the day;

- a bit of hammock time for reading, blogging, chatting, sleeping, listening to music or just plain “slothing”. It was far too hot to even think about being on the beach ...

... track for 6 hours then catch a 1st class bus for 6 hours from Oaxaca to Mexico city. 12hrs V's 18 it was a no brainer!
We arrived in Mexico City at 6am - freezing cold, with no accommodation and having barely slept we trudged with all our gear over to the taxi booth to arrange a taxi into to the city. Looking at all our bags it was obvious we needed 2 taxi's so we paid for 2, got our tickets and went over to the taxi cue - with our limited understanding ...
