Catching Up Time!

Teacher Fam: I am very lucky to already have made my Taiwanese friends along with my fabulous co-workers. We are about the most diverse group of individuals that anyone could have put together, but it works. ... things. There are definitely things that I can improve on, but she told me that I was doing a great job, so that made me feel much better! Monday night was Susan's birthday, so we went to a greek restaurant and had a great dinner. The next night I went to see Rise of Planet of the Apes, which was actually really good. Tonight was teacher pot luck at Susan's and it was a delicious, relaxing finish to our day.

Fate and our two new friends in Taichung
... I guess we could. We really didn't have any specific plans today, so might as well. They were so nice to us too. They even paid for our lunch even though we strongly urged them not too. They said we were their guests, so no worries. Wow! That's great hospitality from two young ladies we had just met. You can't find that just anywhere in the world.

Next weekend we are taking a trip to Kenting (a very southern area in Taiwan) for my birthday.
