    ... We do not disagree. Unfortunately for us they were engaged in restorative work on the exterior front. The inside was pristine. The church is rich with paintings and frescoes. In fact Mike (aka Michelangelo) reviewed the ceiling and wall art before painting the Sistine Chapel. Bird is also especially impressed with the alternating black and white stone work.     ... in the sunshine while eating the first press Virgin Olive of olives that we had just picked. It was divine, a truly fantastic experience !!
    The next day it was Panicale's Celebration of the 2015 Olive Oil Harvest - PanOlio. As usual Panicale does a great festival , this one was no exception.     Hi there all, this is a bit of a belated post as we actually visited this village in September ............but hey .........I'm on holidays and it's very Italian to be late !!!

    ... good, and we have been back a few times to purchase !!!

    According to the gossip going around Panicale ,Patrizia Lamborghini has just sold the whole property - Winery and golf course to a large multinational company ( apparently from China )and their are big plans to develop and update. Just Hope the uniqueness of it will be retained and developed.
