It took us 6 hours to get from Alberobello to Orvieto but the roads were good and less busy than usual – love Sundays! We drove up the east coast as far as Pescara and saw may pretty coastal scenes for a change and then we drove across Italy due west towards Rome. We have never seen this part before and once again there were so many beautiful mountains some unexpectedly covered in snow. It was gorgeous. ...
