      ... correctly, the bull will die a quicker death. However, 4/5 bulls I stayed to watch had to tire the bull after that part until 2 ayudantes could get the bull to look down so the matador could place a second sword in his spinal cord. The first bull actually didn't die! After the picadors he didn't really run toward any of the ayudantes, so the plaza brought out cows to eventually corral him back to where he came from. The third matador made me the most nervous- ...

A slow start to the day a bit of sightseeing and shopping. we set of north along Gran Via eventually having lunch on the 9th floor of the El Corte Ingles department store (Sol) which has a fabulous variety of gourmet food and views of the city.       ... After the tour we chatted for a few minutes to the English family, who had managed to book via email, and we learned that the tour we'd had the good fortune to join was one of only two a week in English.
