... Lucifer falling from Heaven and intriguingly rises 666m above sea level.

After the park we went and got a milk shake and burger from a place we spotted close by which was amazing. We did some shopping for odds and ends, as well as at the pharmacy for Maria's cold. We got what we thought was throat lozenges but they were more like gummy lolllies, not what I wanted at all. By this point we ...

I started off the day with the walking tour of west Madrid. We learnt all about the royal family, the Spanish Inquisition, the Black Plague and all kinds of cheerful subjects. I met 4 other lone Aussies in the tour so we went to a deli afterwards for lunch. Deli's here are real deli's. Not like in Australia. All of the rolls and pastries were about 1€-2€ each. I thought I ordered the spinach and ...

I realized I better go find a ticket or else risked missing the show which would have been a big bummer. I asked a ...

... Spain was a monarchy let me just reiterate. The Spanish royalty do have some powers, like the king having power over the military, but there is also a Spanish prime minister, who was also in attendance, but we only saw the king and his royal family.

Our day yesterday wrapped up with a trip to the National Library of Spain where we got a chance to see an exhibit on Spain's exploration in the Americas, which was super cool being from America and seeing their perspective. I ...

          ... club.

Saturday we got on the bus and went to the Prado Museum. Art museums aren't very interesting to me, so I thought that the tour went by very slowly, and it was hard to pay attention. Then we got to take a break for lunch, which was another doner kebab, and met back up to head to the Queen Sofia Museum (more art). After making through that one, a friend and I went shopping. We were walking slower than zombies by the time ...
