... there was a giant wave machine, with all different skill-levels of surfers catching some waves. It reminded me very much of the Eisbach Wave in Munich. There were lots of different areas to sit and watch, but we opted to sit on top of these stacks of semi-trailers that had been made into a permanent viewing area. ... to Zurich is spectacular. It's a world heritage listed rail line that goes up through the mountains and then back down again. Glaciers and mountains and pine forests and cows wearing cow bells and all that other picturesque stuff. I won't do it justice by trying to explain it, just make the time to get on the glacier express if you ever get the opportunity, if not, try google's probably almost as good (no chance). As for Zurich, I don't know what everyone ...

... press the button to open the door which slides open. You go inside and there is the toilet pan (minus a seat - lots of toilets do not have a seat in Paris). Sit down and do your business. Press the button to flush (but it will not flush until you actually leave the buiding). Move to the basin and it is one of those do everything contraptions. Hold your hands out and liquid soap will dispense. Then warm water for you to wash your hands. Then, the dryer to dry your hands. ...
