... totally undeveloped looking scrub forested land. The highway stops for services were much like we have in North America and no matter what angle I tried I could not make them very photogenic! Our B & B, as it is self described, needed for us to have four pair of sharp eyes to see the turn off sign and a ring of the entry gate to allow us to enter. we have pleasant motel style rooms in the middle of nowhere, but quiet we assume unless there are more trains ...

The wonderful thing here is that families attend these things, so you have children dancing with their siblings, their cousins, parents and grandparents. It was wonderful to watch and be part of. A young man I didn't even know dragged me into a conga line!! My cousin Antonio was in his glory. I don't know how many ...

... br> The susumedi turned out very close to what I remember and are in fact even better! My aunt tossed them in a mixture of boiled sugar and water and I had a corner of one while they were still warm. This was a throwback in time, much like so many other things have been on this trip.
Tonight was the adult cousins night out, joined by two other couples who are close friends of Antonio and Fabrizio respectively. On the way to the restaurant in Catanzaro, which is about ...
