... this train trip. These musings have made up a large part of my travels in general, so why not share it with the internet. Such is the way of my generation. ---------------- These are rugged mountains - the ones with sheer faces of rock, so new and untamed that even trees or grass can't grip on to the cliffs yet. These mountains remind me of South East Asia. It might seem a strange thing to say, as Italy is about as far from Asia as you can get. Looking at the mountains though ...
... We finished up with Tiramisu, which was yummy. Several bottles of red and white wine also got emptied. On the boat on the way back to the hotel people were singing and dancing in the aisles. About 7 or 8 couples stopped by the bar for a nightcap. This is such a fun group!! Can’t stay up too late though because it’s another early morning departure tomorrow. Another boat trip back to where the bus was collecting us, and it was off to the Italian Lakes. We went up the coast to Genoa, which is one of Italy's ...

At the top, in addition to the statue of Christ and several kiosks for trinkets and tourist memorabilia, is the Church of San Biagio. This old structure, with its simple and pretty interior, served the ancient community of ...
