These things are great. Just did thirty five ks and not even looking for the voltaren or to rub my feet. So yesterday afternoon, being a sunday the buses were not running back from the lighthouse. The path is one that has been walked for thousands of years and goes over mountains, beautiful old stone bridges, through mossy passageways and finally to the ocean! When we finally caught glimpse of the ocean it was at the little port town of Cee. Traditionally pilgrims would ...

... and the magnificent sight of the main Western facade of the Cathedral. It was fantastic to all be there together, all a little surreal. Had we really just completed a journey of almost 800km across northern Spain to reach this historic spot? The girls were proud of their achievement too, but in awe of all those who had come from St Jean or other starting points of the five European Ways leading to Galicia.

From here we proceeded to the pilgrim office where ...
