... demonstration??? I was like a moth to flame! There were TV cameras and correspondents but we couldn't understand what they were saying. It looked like thy were following a politician who was very handsome but that's all I got from the crowd. The only thing we bought in Bari was rum gelato for 2 euros. It was amazing! Mike hasn't been feeling too good today (acid reflux we think) so there are no crazy shena****ns to report. Sorry! ...

... the acropolis.  Locally made cheeses, bread and meats were balanced with an assortment of sundried tomatoes, olives, fresh apricots, dates and raisins from the street vendors. Yummm! Then just another 30 km of nice riding, except for the part labeled "changelling" in our tour notes which turned out to be not too bad. We arrived in Alberbello late afternoon and checked in to the Trullidea Resort which is made up of beehive shaped little ...

... and Charlotte had a croissant. Lots of Italians there and could see why - delicious and only cost 1.80 for everything.

Back on the road and a lovely drive to Polignano a Mare, a stunning tiny beach on the coast set against steep cliffs topped with buildings. This had been Charlottes contribution to the itinerary and it was well worth a visit. Spent a long time wandering the streets, ...
