... of Noah and the flood. No photographs were allowed here! Simply stunning! Raphael's rooms served as the personal accommodation of Popes in the past. Every wall was a fresco telling a story or a historical moment. The rooms were not large enough for the crowds of people! We had a light breakfast in the Mensa, consisting of croissants, and yogurt, some delicious thin meat (?),and a few other small items, and then loaded the busses to head to St. Peter's for mass at 8. Mass was lead by our on campus priest, Msgr. Fucinaro, and took place, not in the main part of the church, but at one of the side alters, dedicated to ...

... we were one of the first people queuing. We bought our audio guilds and then waited for the doors to open. Before the doors opened we had a good opportunity to take some nice pictures of St Peter's square whilst it was empty. It was another glorious day so the pictures came out really good.

As soon as the doors opened of the Vatican we made our way through. This is where our audio guild started from. They started to explain ...
