... Bar filled with Aussies where they were showing the Rugby state of Origin match. From here we went to the Pantheon, a working church, which has a dome which is largest in the world, larger than St. Peter's. At the top of the dome there is an opening and we were very fortunate to be in there when it rained which came into the church. This is the only bit of rain we have had in three weeks and it and had stopped by the time we ...

... pictures around the place I stopped and thought about what went on there. Mike told me a bunch of history and I got upset. We saw the chambers and dungeons where they kept slaves, gladiators, and wild animals. Wtf is/was wrong with people! How do we continue to treat others like this? ... The first day was slow, I was tired from the train so we walked around a bit and found a beautiful park where we relaxed under the trees and caught up on what we'd all been doing for the week we hadn't seen each other. After our first Italian Aperol Spritz, we went back to the rooftop at the hostel. The rooftop was stunning, the sun was shining and we were playing our music and relaxing before the pub crawl in the evening. We headed to dinner just down the road from the hostel ...

... through the museum of the Vatican City, immense collection of amazing art and sculptures, we are in complete awe of the immense magnitude and worth, it is just beyond our imaginations. Room after room of spectacular art works, mosaic, sculptures ceiling art and wall art. We spent hours viewing all the different rooms. Finally reaching the Sistine Chapel which was wall to wall paintings and of course ...
