      ... saw many ruins so exciting. I can't wait to see these magnificent monuments in the light of day. It was so much fun exploring in the dark.       ... Tonight we had dinner at Ristorante Da Meo Patacca...another charming setting in between busy Rome. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation, so we wondered around the block and found a beautiful church/convent. Just as we were leaving their bells began to chime, so we stood looking at the bell tower just as the sun began to set!       ... the 3 hours we had budgeted was too long. We were glad to see the tower though!
      And thus, we were Rome bound! It took about 3 hours to train from pisa to Rome, not too bad. Our train was a stereotypical European train with cabins instead of just aisle seats. It was very comfortable. our hostel is a quick 5 minute walk from the station and easy to find. We had a quiet evening, enjoyed a glass of free sangria courtesy of our hostel and are now catching up on some lost sleep:) ...
