Post card views We wake to cleared rain, an overcast day but incredibly surprising are the snow capped peaks surrounding Lake Como. The scene has been stolen from a post card or the top of a box of beautiful chocolates. The only thing missing from the scene are the two swans we saw gliding across the water yesterday. We walk along the lake to a 12 century church of Sancta Maria del Tiglio with what looks like a 16th century church built inside the walls of a 15th ...

What A Night!

second glance.. To all you women, I send this message. The 10% ...

Boating, beauty & Bellagio

... spent in Bellagio. We found a lovely little pizzeria fo lunch and shared a pizza. It came cut in half on two plates! It seems that the Italians eat pizza with a knife and fork! We washed this down with a Berra media (medium beer) which was crisp and cold. The paths in Belaggio were literally cobblestones & were quite awkward to walk on! The streets were very narrow, and the few cars we saw had to give way to the pedestrians! We chose ...
