... 3 sessions. Three Mondays in a row I have the pleasure of teaching all day, having a half-hour recess duty, and then sitting for another 4 hours in this lovely class.

Oh, yes, I also now use the word "lovely." That comes with having a teaching partner who's British. What other lingo will I pick up??

With Ej's backpack on my back and Ej forging ahead, we make our way to our favourite pizza bakery. We again buy some of our favourite pizza, an order the sales assistant is now able to predict. It turns out Piazza Venezia was a palace built to honour the first King of Italy. There is also an armed guard for the monument in the centre dedicated to an unknown soldier who was killed in a street off the piazza. We could see people walking on top of the building and wondered ...

... not the best way to describe it, but still Vatican city is it's own little thing. At the Cupola, we had offers to take the elevators, but we all chose the stairs. It was a long and extremely hard walk, steep too. Since when do I ever choose stairs over an elevator? Once we got about 3 quarters up, the walls started curving in, I cant even explain it. The walls and stairs would curve to the side like your walking sideways - obviously not as much but you get the jist. Which ...
