We began our journey yesterday (Friday) in Hartford. We left the house around 1:15 (just so you get an idea of total travel time) for our 3:25 flight to Atlanta. Given our combined luck with air travel, we were dubious about our flights. We made it to Atlanta with only slight delay and still had time to grab a bite to eat before the dreaded 15 hour flight. The Royal Livingstone was possibly the most impressive hotel I have seen, so plush and luxurious. One day when I make my millions (may be difficult on a doctors salary) I am definitely going to come back and stay there. There were some VERY rich looking tourists staying there, we felt ever so slightly out of place! Our last ...

... tracks from a rhino and tracked that bad boy for a solid 40 mins. Finally we saw him, beautiful as ever. He was very close as we drove in amongst the bush were he was and for a moment aunty Jo and I had a spaz attack because he started to charge, luckily he stopped at the green grass. We watched him for a while and took many photos. We got back to the lodge, had a nice breakfast and went to the pool. I read and wrote and aunty Jo the same. We went back to the room, ...
