    ... the corner from our hotel. I didn't feel hungry but we thought we should at least walk there and see what it was like. The food was brilliant and they cooked all the meat on a huge open fire in the main part of the restaurant. The boys had pasta and Geoff and I had a lovely grilled pork chop and sausage patty which sounds awful but was really good.     ... Perfect, we set up the camp under some gum trees that made us feel right at home, got a load of washing started and headed off to have a quick swim in the surf (which we could hear). The beach was lovely, the waves were probably about 1m at times, and the water was quite warm - but I couldn't see anyone who might have been responsible for that...



    After a quick dip we headed back to the camp to cook up a feed - italian ...

    Tomorrow- we have a cooking class on the property headed by the Countessa and we eat what we make for lunch.. Then we go to Paestrum to see ruins, and then go to see mozzarella being made- we also view the buffalo.

    ... and plants. We past by were some of the James Bonds action had been filmed while crossing the lake. We had lunch across the lake from the town Como. Then we had a walk around before heading back on the boat to do a little bit of shopping. We had planned to go to the Silk Museum while we were there but it was a Monday and everything is closed on Mondays here.     ... Today is a trip on the lake, as the ferries chuff past our bedroom windows constantly.
    Wendy, I will answer your lovely news email separately in case this blog gets stuck in cyberspace.
    Mostly my phone is not working now at all except for photos, so if anyone is texting me, sorry, I can't reply. However, we are able to get emails so I can check them when we get connection.
