The Michaelangelo is very comfortable and helps us recover from our experiences at the hands of Mr Grimaldi and also from the disappointing ride up from Puglia. Got bored with stripping paint off doors and mending roofs and painting furniture and the rain decided to go to beach for a holiday while forcast is good. Took bikes. Jackie & Brendan are still sick, so we have another quiet day at home. We have to get ready for our long travel day up the Adriatic Coast to Venice. It is the middle weekend for the Italian 2 week vacation; some are ending this weekend and some are beginning, so everyone will be in the road! :(

On our way there, we got lost a little before we found the autostrada and then we had some trouble finding the trailhead, even though we had the Garmin and my iPad!

There really aren't any signs to tell you that you are in the national park and there are still towns and commercialism along ...
