Last day on the road
... since we arrived at night I was unaware until morning that our rooms overlooked the sea. Rimini has a very long stretch of beach rivaling Miami in length. The next morning, Thursday, we had a business meeting with Rino at the glass bottling facility. Last day on the road
Mark here again. Since I last wrote I visited another olive oil bottler, saw hundred year old olive trees, ate dinner and spent a night in the old city of Spoleto, had lunch in Assisi, toured a brewery and 2 mineral water bottling plants, and spent two nights in a wonderful Adriatic beach town called Rimini. Ancona Italy
Arrived 7am but didn't go ashore until 11. Berthed right in town so an easy walk to do some shopping. Saturday today so market stalls everywhere and really good shops. Had a good Illy coffee and a walk up the hill for a view. Nice fine weather today about 24 degrees. Had lunch in Marco Polo restaurant. Really very good food. Sailed for Corfu during lunch.
