          ... unreal, sun is fierce and not a breath of wind. Afternoons on the balcony are the order of the day, listening to all the birds shouting at each other and arguing over bread dropped on the floor at the cafe by the lake.

          ... utter delight we found a chestnut tree on that mountain. It had dropped a lot of chestnuts on the ground. Rachel and I excitedly gathered pocketfuls of them!
