    ... of paper and the farmers wife and her husband became quite animated. So the First Lady and the farmers wife marched us across these paddocks through locked gates etc- I started to think - something has gone wrong here - no cemetery in sight. So we get to these trees in the middle of nowhere and sure enough it's a tiny cemetery . When we found our relative's grave we couldn't believe it!!! Really touching ...

    We met a lovely couple over breakfast who told us how Poland had changed and how poor it used to be. Now it has a fabulous infra structure and is quite modern - only in some of the country towns can you see the remainder of some of the poverty. So we are off to discover some of our ancestors roots today.     ... But the roads in ,rural Poland are soooo bad!! We h ave been on the road for 5 hours already and still have heaps to go and today wasn't even supposed to be much of a driving day!!!
