Off to the airport to pick up Mark who has joined us for a few days so we get to see some more of the Island. We then head up to a historical town called Erice for lunch and the views were stunning. A Sunday night stroll through the city to show the sights to Mark was a real eye opener as all the SIcilians were out promenading so we just had to stop and have a Mojito and people ...

We wake up at 5am and dump Alison and Scott on the quay and make a quick get away as 50 miles to do before the windy front arrives, that Is due late afternoon. Off to bed. This is one place I could plant myself for a full week. It's absolutely ...

... of Sicily and especially Malta which was amazing. I am sure there is another adventure looming out there for me. I plan to sit tight til I go to the states July 20, first to Albuquerque to see my sister and family, and then back to Maine to go sailing for 2 weeks along the Maine coast with a dear friend, who actually crewed for me when I went to Bermuda. Probably won't be blogging from the boat! Final plans..I leave 21st April to go ...

... to the cathedral, we heard the band and backed down to find the procession on its way up to the peak where the cross was. We didn't feel like climbing again so watched it from below with binoculars and zoom lens on the camera..Sunset was starting and I didn't feel like driving back down the mountain in the dark so we left about 7:15. Back to the 'ranch' for another wonderful dinner with electricity on via the generator. Chris and I were in hysterics while getting ready ...
