... our way down the hill to the seaside town of Follonica where we found things shut down just as tight. We did find one place open, however, and had some wonderful pasta and marinatee pork. The kids had a sugar-filled pastery thing for dessert. We then drove Liberace back to the closed campground, where qlmost across the road we found an un gated dirt road leading into an olive grove. It's hard to describe the vibe of this town, but there is something mysterious to it. We spent at least 3 hours here, and I could have stayed longer, but we needed to leave for Orvieto so we weren't driving at dark. ...
