    ... This saves around 20-30 minutes of one-side journey but also costs double than bus+train journey. During the bus journey, you’ll find Lake Garda on your left for almost 15 minutes, which is just a treat to watch.

    ... modern with stainless vats etc. In the basement they aged the wine in huge oak barrels for 2-3 years. The smell of fermenting wine was incredibly strong and not really very nice. We were slightly concerned to see gas masks hanging near the door but I guess it happens. Their best wine, Ovello, was lovely and having drunk some with dinner last night I had to buy a few bottles. He tells me it will keep for 15 years ...

    ... like a very large bag. Then it hit me. It was possibly a present and the cakes were for me. Davide and Simone laughed. Giuseppe said "Auguri" and then we opened the yummy cakes and dug in!

    Eventually they told me to open the present beneath the table and to my delight, it was a beautiful bag! YAY! :D On it is a pom pom thing that's so soft! Purrrr :D

    We got on the train at 0930 and made our way to Bergamo through Verona. We had to change trains. We had a first class compartment for half the trip. Germany has begun to manage the influx of refugees by canceling certain routes and using the trains just to transport them to Munich. We noticed several trains diverted for that purpose.
