Italy on the Med

After an ‘on zee ‘ouse’ liqueur for the girls (me driving again!) we got up to leave and one of the waiters promptly alerted the owner as if we were Royality itself, and we were treated to a passionate ‘arrivederchi’ which continued half way up the street and made us feel rather good. We were complaining a week or so about the cold,now,I have just seen the weather on TV and where we are here, is in the early 30s,with Florence and Rome reaching high 30s to 40 over the next week or so.
Have just come back from the beach 8 Euros lighter (umbrella and sun bed in the fourth row).
