weren’t even in the right valley. Not to worry, we re-planned the route and
carried on. The walk took us towards the town of Terlago and the Lago di
Terlago before heading round Monte Mezzana and climbing back up to the village
of Covelo and on the village of Monte Terlago where our campsite is. The walk
was lovely, past vineyards and apple orchards.
Saturday 20th July
... to Bocca Saval at 1740 metres. The weather is cloudy but the humidity is around 80% so we were both very sweaty very quickly. As we climbed higher, we had glimpses through
the trees and low cloud of the lake below. It took us about three hours to
reach the highest point of the day and unfortunately we were in cloud, so not
many views. Just before the Bocca Saval, a large building loomed out of the

... to upgrade our hire car to a Classic Italian Alfa Romeo Giuletta ( or similar) was a complete wast of time and we ended up with a citroen C3 Picasso. Not at all similar !! I will be taking this up with the hire company on our return. Other than that it has been a fantastic ten days which as Kate keeps on reminding me was all booked by her.... Except the car hire! Set off for Modena this morning - Ferrari country!!!! Actually, the region is home to Lamborghini, Maserati, Bugatti and Ducatti as well, and so I was hoping that our visit to the Enzo Ferrari Museum would give me enough time for a decent look around! We have spent eons looking at ancient churches, castles and buildings etc. and as lovely as they are, I am totally over them!!!!
