    ... something. To cut a long story short, after 20 to 30 minutes walking, we stumbled on a Christmas market which had live music and an ice skating rink. What a find!  Henceforth, our quick dinner turned into a longer one, but well worth the adventure.     ... to Venice included a bus and water transporter dropping us at the Grand Canal, a short walk from St Mark's square. The included tour only encompassed a map orientation for us to use in our own time and a glass blowing demonstration (I wonder what the backshish was from this?)
