... I had purchased it just so that if we saw something vaguely interesting we'd be able to check it out without thinking about what it would cost. So, here it is at the end of our first day and we haven't used the vaporetto pass nor the museum pass, and I can feel them laughing at me saying "sucker".... Friday morning we had breakfast in our hotel breakfast room and set out to explore. The plan for today was to just wander and see where ...

They really jam people onto those things, 10.30 at night and it was packed. Makes me wonder, do they ever have accidents? How often does a boat sink around here? And is going into the water the worst injury you can ...

... Jordyn, Steff, Bhrett and Belinda. We all shared 3 bottles of champers and cruised around the canals for about 45 minutes which was good fun, we had plenty of laughs :-P n it was a good way to see some of the city and take some happy snaps :-) We said good bye to Venice and caught a water taxi back to the campsite. We all got ready for the masquerade party and went to the bar area to have a BBQ dinner. It was soooo good!! We had ribs, chicken, ...

... in a while in Rialto. It's a overcast day with no sun and a bit of drizzle. We have a little look then go on the famous gondola ride, where Mario chatted to us about the history of certain places. Peter sang Amore to which Mario laughed and said no no only in the movies. We all loved the gondola ride but were happy to get off as the wind was freezing on the water. On to Piazza di San Marco where we had a look ...
