    ... Xaibe. We unload all the chairs from the truck and I wait with the boys until someone with the key turns up. Katie heads off a couple of villages further to collect a couple we're studying with. The meeting is from 10:00 till 11:45. We pack up straight away and take our studies back.     ... will have some idea of what the Mennonite community is like. It's like stepping back in time to the 1800's. Nobody really spoke any English. The German they speak is Low German which is quite different to the modern German so even the German speakers (Rubbert and Patrick) had trouble. Some spoke Spanish which was good as we had Elma (Francis wife) with us who is fluent.
