Once we were done there she decided that she would show me the canals and after a bit of a circle in the metro we made our way there. It was getting later in the day by this point and she told me her parents had invited me for dinner so I joined ...

... so much ocean at on time in my life". It was great to bring Nonna to her family and have lunch in the house she was born in. As we wandered down to the houses of Anita and Gino and on through the village I just felt like I was finally experienced the real Sicily. The town was very quiet and beautiful. It had just one bar with lots of (mainly old men) playing cards. Gino took us in and bought us drinks and multiple snacks for the boys. In the morning we walked further up hill. Bruna met ...
