    Marina di Camerota

Yesterday left Positano. We took a shuttle to Salerno then picked up a car from Avis. The coast road from Positano to Salerno was truly breathtaking and the driver quite friendly and tried to explain a few sights along the way. Headed south and stopped at some Greek ruins in Paestrum which dated back to BC. Weather a little cold and rainy or we probably would have stayed longer. Took the scenic root to Marina di Camerota. Stopped at Bascillicata and had a late lunch at a little pizzeria. ...

... up going back to the beach a little disappointed that the guide hadn't taken us there first.

We had a late lunch and the boys share whole baked fish which was pretty tasty. After lunch we headed back for a spot of swimming in the pool, playing table tennis and a last BBQ together. After dinner we celebrated an early birthday for Ethan with a cake that Nathalie had arranged and Ben and Ethan traded birthday presents.

... scene pink and pretty as a picture! This, my friends, is Southern Italy at it’s best.
A region rich in, you guessed it, olive oil production, the town of Pisciotta in the Campagnia Region of the Province of Salerno, Italy sits in the hills of Cilentano National Park. The dancing “Ulivo Pisciottano” produce a high-quality olive oil that can be purchased in the food markets around Pisciotta’s square.

The good people of Pisciotta wear ...
