Got up super early to drive from Rome to the port in Naples (a mafia controlled city) to catch our ferry to the wonderful island of Capri. A group of a few Australians, a handful of Americans and us managed to hire a small boat and captain it ourselves. It was cool. Cruising around the whole island at our own pace, taking a much needed refreshing dip in the 'green grotto' and checking out the massive houses on top of the huge cliffs around the island. It's quite an impressive island and ...

The boat docks at our rock beach and we board for our voyage to Capri. We watch the green sea and coast as we make our way over and cruise around Capri. The water is very choppy and tiny row boats are lined up outside the small entrance to the traffic-jammed blue grotto. It looks like it would be hours to get in if it is even possible. It's got a cute little town right on the port, but to really see the island, we need to hire a taxi driver, Antonino but he says to call him by his nickname, Nucho. He's very nice and personable and takes us to see all the panoramic views. He says there are 12,000 people living on the island. People make a living through fishing, agriculture, and tourism. It's safe, ...

... understand everything he says, but Steven and I only get some of it basically relying on our Spanish. It doesn't matter though, we're still loving it! After the meeting is finished, we talk to everybody and take lots of pictures. Everyone is really friendly. A group is going out to eat and invite us to join them. Nina, who speaks Spanish, hops into our car and directs us where to go. ...

... parents and siblings and moved to Argentina, but he remembers a lot of things. For example, where the pharmacy was, the school, a water fountain, etc. Eventually we find the block and the house where he was born! Of course it looks totally different now. We are told that somebody had bought the 4 houses making up the small lot and built one big, 3-story house. Just around the corner, we find a 76 yr old lady who remembers my dads entire immediate family and begins to ...
