We are driven back the scenic route along the coast and pass some lovely houses and beaches and a very lovely five star hotel before being dropped back in Vigo.

the rain in the dark with them damn heavy packs! The receptionist at the hotel, Celso, was incredibly nice and accommodating. He asked if we were going to have dinner at the restaurant and Ann explained about the vegan diet restrictions. He said, 'No problem, I talk to the chef.' The remains of the castle are not really very exciting, neither is the reconstruction of the ancient settlement, which now boasts 3 little houses amidst some stone circles, fenced in with more wire mesh than Alcatraz. This area would have been much nearer the sea than it is now, as they reclaimed a portion of land from the sea about 100 years ago.
