    ... night was overlooking it. We walked around for a little bit, looking at the buildings, but the weather got as cold as it had been, so we headed indoors and found a nice little restaurant for dinner for chicken schnitzel and steaks, and thought we'd pick up dessert on the way home at Tesco, which ended up being half a litre of chocolate brownie ice cream which was completely consumed in the space of 15 minutes in our room. ...

    ... all been very helpful and eager to make your stay enjoyable. Pisek is a really impressive town, and we were lucky that we got in early enough to enjoy the sites. Pisek has charming cafes, lots of beautiful old buildings in the centrum, and especially baroque houses that are very ornate and well maintained.     ... s constant vibrations. And basically makes toes and fingers tingle then go numb. But compared to yesterday, we did this in much better form. At the top, and just before we crossed on the road on top of the dam, we looked over the side to take some photos and noticed a crane working. Amazingly they were using the crane to lift yachts up out of the water, about 30m, and directly onto the back of waiting trailers. Precision work. We literally sat on the side of the road ...
