    ... in Genoa and we would enjoy ourselves much more by paying to go to one of several private beaches with restaurants and services. We managed to navigate the Genoa tram system to Bagni Nuovo Lido.     ... different, appealing to younger travellers ( although everyone we saw was closer to our age). Dinner is do-it-yourself with sandwiches, pasta to be microwaved, salads, and oddly, Hungarian goulash. There was a bar with the usual liquid offerings.
