... churches and the architecture of the cottages. Next, we climbed Gublowka Mountain, which took about 1 hour each way. The path was very slippery and it is a miracle that I didn't fall into the mud at some point. Nearly halfway up, on a grassy knoll, a man was herding sheep in a cloud of fog. I felt like I was in “The Sound of Music”, it was so bloody magical.

Finally on top the mountain, we saw ridiculously awesome ...

Another quiet sort of a day we got up and ate our breakfast around 8 ready for our hike at 9. We caught a train first, then took a funicular (which is like a tram that goes up the side of a mountain) further up the hill to where we started our hike. It started off nice and easy and stayed not to bad, it was a really great walk up though the mountains. And even though it ...

Not to much to report today. We had a nice sleep in this morning after a relatively late night last night. Did some laundry and enjoyed the sunshine, before we got on our bus & headed for the Tatra mountains in Slovakia. This took about 4 and a half hours and we arrived at around 7:30pm had diner and now having an early night in bed, ready for a hike in the mountains ...

... walking around with a tube of toothpaste in their back pocket hugging a kettle. I have really enjoyed living up in the mountains for about a month, the tranquility it brought. Can't speak for Fleur though as she has had to listen to my same stories on average 76 times as I kept meeting new people. I didn't envy her the day we were walking up to the lake Morskie Oko. Is there anything worse than a complaining homosexual with a blister and a backpack walking up a hill? Probably ...
