Day 10: Florence
We started the day with a major bummer: Bradley left for home bright and early, which makes me really sad. I miss him already and I'm jealous that he gets to see our pooch and smoosh his little Louie face. There are a ton of dogs in Europe, by the way, and people bring them everywhere with them. We have FaceTimed with Lou a couple times to make us (me) feel better... but I digress. Anyway, I miss my husband a lot. Today's drizzly, cold weather matched the gloominess of Bradley's ...
Testing the Bus System
... not sure if we would be able to catch a bus there today after visiting San Gimignano. I have a photo of a map to the hotel in the IPad and we know what street we are on. So once again our way is blocked and even the map doesn’t help. Again we ask directions the best way we can as ...
Under the Tuscan Sun...not quite
... as it is, and so much detail. Michelangelo even included the veins in David's hands.
Off we were again..wandering around town to find a place to eat. We found another ok resturante (where Carl managed again to spill on himself), but then managed to get to one of the geloto places in our book ( a all organic one)...sadly it wasn't that great. But the next one 10 minutes later ...
