What a day yesterday! We were pretty tired this morning, especially since there was a massive storm last night that kept us awake. We walked out onto the balcony and found a scene that made us think of the Ottoman Turks assaulting the island. Wooden furniture was smashed to pieces below us and an umbrella with metal base had fallen over. We guessed that those were the smashing sounds that we had heard during the middle of the night. We quickly packed our ...

The plan was to rent bikes at the gates of the park but we found out they had no helmets even for kids. So we did not have an unexpected trip to a hospital with Caleb we skipped the biking and walked the path of the park instead. ... a mixture of drugs before managing to fall asleep. If you ever want me to wake up early then have me sleep on a boat, some people find the motion soothing and like having the roof 10cm's from your face but not I.

We all got to know each other on Moon Kiss pretty quickly but unfortunately we didn't all have the same sense of humour. Milan and I seemed to put our foot in it a few times with the hoity toity flight attendants. ...

After an early Christmas with my family on Monday and a weekend of goodbyes to my Plymouth family, I banked my first air miles flying from Bristol to Split, Croatia. The bus from the airport to Split town was so straightforward to arrange once I arrived and as soon as I left the airport I knew I'd like Croatia - beautiful landscapes all around, not a cloud in the sky, just what was needed to contemplate the next 9 months of my travels and being off work! Arriving in Split town ...
