We had a lovely family dinner as it was one of their son's birthdays. There were 12 of us, including three grandchildren. The long table was beautifully set and there were multiple plates (stacked neatly on top of each other), glasses and cutlery on the table. The menu in order was:
Tre fomaggio - plaited mozzarella, pecan cheese, plus one other cheese
Pasta (wide ribbons) with radish
Pasta (tubes) ...

... down. The piazza has been pretty empty. Very sad. I'm pretty sure there will eventually be a rebound, but for now the city seemed a little ghostly.

So now our minds and hearts are homeward bound. We miss our house, we miss our dog, I miss our couch and fireplace - which I understand I will definitely need.
