Lido Di Jesolo (Venice)

... to Venice. It's about 2 hrs but we're camping on the spit opposite called Lido Di Jesolo. The sat nav lady & Paul fell out in the way and so the journey took closer to 3 hrs! I was driving, they were arguing and it all got a bit stressy! Anyhow once we got back on the motorway (that P insisted we didn't need to take - you pay, you see, and he is tight!) we made it to the site we'd hoped for. This place ...

Now, part of the problem ...

Muggia was our first experience of tiny off road streets which were too narrow to fit vehicles down but good enough for us to avoid town traffic. As usual we never really knew where these lane ways would pop out but the beauty of them made up for ...

Venice is a popular city for tourists. In Venice, I almost see only tourists but no locals.
Burano is exceptional.
Burano is part of Venice, a northern tiny island, about an hour with water bus from Venice main station.

It was a fishermen's island. Nowadays of course it is hard to see them. What I saw is a quiet island with kids play around and ...
