... we had too bend double yo get into them. They were very similar to the burial cave that we have visited in both Greece and Turkey, with tombs cut into the rock. ... Vulture centre, to the plateau. It was just as the guide book said only the great expanse is covered in two feet of snow, in places there are drifts that are four feet deep. As we drove around the 20 villages on the plateau the villagers were digging out vehicles that were completely submerged in the snow, the only way you could tell that they were there was by the strange dome shape the snow had made on them ...

... the road. We were out about an hour other than a couple of cars we didn't see a soul, this could be because of the thick fog of dried sea spray covering our glasses!! ... known us a while will know about our trip to Lauterbrunen in Switzerland in the summer of 2005. http://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/floods-and- landslides-cut-off-alpine-villages/4686 902.
