On the road to Austria via Liechtenstein. Bern tells us that today is brought to us by the letter "S" .... Swarovski, Schnitzel , Strudel and Schapps :) We drove through some stunning countryside with soaring mountains and rolling green hills before stopping at the Liechtenstein capital of Vaduz. A really quaint little town with some interesting sculptures in the town square. Overlooking the town is the palace of the royal family. We had ...

We were told that the Austrians take great pride in how their dwellings and businesses are kept up, and it was really remarkable how clean the city was. We walked past Mozarts house on the way. AirBNB charges the renters credit card for the full amount (plus a fee) and holds it until 24 hours ...

The hills certainly are alive in this beautiful part of the world. The scenery is just magnificent. Every corner brings another beautiful scenic view. The lush green grass, the Austrian Alps with their first dusting of snow on them, the rivers and streams with their unique colour of greeny blue caused by the limestone in the rocks, the Austrian/German style of housing all make this area so beautiful. We will surely come this way again. We ...

This morning we drove to Austria. We started the day with White water rafting in the Inn river in Innsbrook. The water was freezing but we had wet suits and it it was worth it. Amazing views. We had some of the local cuisine: goulash soup and schnitzel. They speak German. Off to ...
